After having the honor of being among the 15 projects selected for the Étoiles de l’Europe awards in Normandy, our KerifAI project received the Innovation Award.
This distinction recognizes much more than a technological breakthrough. It celebrates years of hard work, dedication, and collaboration toward a shared goal: putting artificial intelligence to work for healthcare.
Developed through close collaboration between the Rouen University Hospital Cornea Bank, EFF’INNOV Technologies, and ADCIS—Evolucare Group, KerifAI demonstrates the full potential of innovation when research, medicine, and technology advance together.
Using artificial intelligence and computer vision, our goal is to support cornea banks in their vital work, optimize the evaluation of grafts, and help provide more opportunities for patients awaiting a cornea transplant.
Receiving the Innovation Award at the Étoiles de l’Europe is a strong recognition of the potential of this approach and the tangible impact that innovation can have on the patient care journey.
